Mount Si Loop Adventure

Join CNS for a bold twist on a Northwest favorite — the Mount Si Loop, a rarely traveled route that links Old Mount Si Trail, Douglas Fir Trail, and Boulder Garden Loop, starting and ending at the Little Si Trailhead. This rugged circuit combines classic views with hidden gems — forest solitude, steep climbs, and that unmistakable Snoqualmie Valley panorama.

📅 Sunday, November 9, 2025
📍 Little Si Trailhead, North Bend
Start: 8:00 AM
🥾 Distance: ~8 miles
⬆️ Elevation Gain: ~3,200 ft
⏱️ Estimated Time: ~3 hours moving time at a 2.5 mph pace (allow 4–5 hours total with breaks and summit detour)
💪 Difficulty: Strenuous — steep sections, possible snow near the top

This route follows the Old Trail up and descends the New Trail, connecting through the peaceful Douglas Fir Trail before looping back via Boulder Garden. It starts and ends at Little Si Trailhead, merging briefly with the Little Si Trail. The hike stops just shy of the Mount Si summit — though those craving an extra challenge can take on the steep final scramble!

Expect mixed terrain — from well-packed forest paths to possible snow patches. Bring traction gear, poles, warm layers, and your adventure mindset.

Post-hike reward: Coffee and pastries at North Bend Bakery — because every climb deserves a sweet finish!

Come explore the quieter side of Mount Si before winter fully sets in. 🍂
