The Basics:

What is CNS CoOp about?

CNS CoOp began as a spark during hiking adventures between 2015 and 2019, inspired by the incredible landscapes of the Pacific Northwest and a desire to share them with others. What started as a personal journey quickly became a shared mission—to build a community that not only explores nature, but also learns from it and gives back. Since launching in 2020, we’ve grown from a small podcast group into a thriving nonprofit cooperative, offering hundreds of hikes, cultural events, and outdoor experiences. Today, Nature Station is a collaborative hub where people of all backgrounds connect, contribute, and grow—together, in nature. Learn more

What is membership verification and why is it needed?

Membership verification is the process we use to make sure each member is who they say they are. This measure is in place to keep the community safe for our members.
Until your account is verified, you will not have full access. Without full access, you will not be able to register for meetups, view resources, sign up for events or communicate with other members. Our verification process can take up to 72 hours, however, we usually complete it much faster. If it’s not completed properly, you will be asked to do it again. Your account will have limited access until you do complete it.

Can I affiliate with CNS but not become a member?

Yes, we collaborate with nonprofits, local communities, and grassroots programs to inspire outdoor exploration, strengthen communities, and drive conservation efforts. Through these strategic alliances, we create transformative experiences that enhance well-being, foster meaningful connections with nature, and make a lasting impact on both individuals and the environment. We are open to any ideas of collaboration.
