Join us for a rewarding strenuous hike to Norse Peak, with a possible extension down to Basin Lake, depending on snow conditions.

We’ll start from Crystal Mountain Road and climb steadily through forest and ridge terrain, soaking in expansive views of Mount Rainier and the surrounding wilderness. If the snowpack allows, we’ll drop down to the scenic Basin Lake for a peaceful alpine break before retracing our steps.

🧭 Trip Details:
📏 ~10–12 miles RT | ~3,500 ft gain
🥾 Expect steep sections and short stretches of snow travel
❄️ Participants must be in strong hiking condition and ready for variable terrain
