If you will go directly to the trailhead, please let me know so we don’t expect you at the Issaquah meeting.
  • Permit/Pass : Northwest Forest Pass
  • Leader's notes:

his is a mentored scramble lead for me (Ken Paradox) so that I may become a scramble leader. Thanks to Jerry Stein for mentoring me and co-leading on this trip. We will hike at a moderate pace and take breaks as needed and to enjoy being out there. We will generally stay together as a group, especially once we go off trail for the scrambling portion of the trip. I have not scrambled either of these peaks before. Trip reports indicate we should expect some bush wacking, talus slope, rock scrambling and route finding challenges. Let’s discuss our choices and find a way that everyone feels comfortable with. Please consider your fitness for hiking over 4000’ of vertical and 12 miles to decide whether this trip is appropriate for you
