NW Queen Anne Stairways- Day Hike !
This is a scenic and historic loop hike including 26 stairways , 830 steps up and 994 steps down . There are great views of downtown , Puget Sound , Mt. Rainier , and the Olympics . The oldest stairway in Seattle is on this hike.
Start at West Boston Street & 14th Ave West above Interbay for the city streets and stairs, 206 stairs up and 308 stairs down. It’s 4 miles and should take about 2 hours. This urban hike is a slightly modified version of Walk 12 in Seattle Stairway Walks.

We will meet at the top of 3rd Ave. N. stairs , the intersection of 3rd Ave. N , Bigelow Ave. and Highland Ave. at 9:00 am . Go up Queen Ave. N. to a right turn on Prospect St. , then left on 1st Ave N, then right on Prospect Street and connecting with Bigelow Ave. to 3rd Ave. N.
